Mark Hudson was born and raised in Africa and started hunting professionally in 1997. In 2003 Mark started Mark Hudson Safaris, a company dedicated to first class hunting safaris throughout Southern Africa. Marks safaris have taken him throughout South Africa, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Botswana and Namibia. Over the years Mark has built up extensive knowledge in all aspects of running a safari company as well as the plains game and big 5 species that Africa has to offer. Married in 2008, Mark now spends his free time with his wife Carlien and two small boys, Tristan and Keith.
Johnty, as he is affectionately know started working for a hunting company in 2008 and has been fully engrained in the hunting business ever since. Johnty holds the position of senior Skinner and Tracker at Hudson Safaris and accompanies Mark on all safaris throughout Southern Africa. Over and above his duties as skinner and tracker, Johnty is also responsible for quality control of all other trackers and skinners that are subcontracted from time to time at Hudson Safaris. Johnty is a very likable guy and brings much laughter to any safari. Johnty has 3 kids and lives with his wife Myna in the Karoo.
Most of the bow hunting takes place in the Northern areas of South Africa, where the listed animal trophies are in abundance.
In Zululand I have two fantastic areas that together amount to about 150 000 acres of land.
